Rasa Yoga - this is a general description of all our Rasa classes.
Rasa is a sanskrit word and means “juice, flavour, essence of emotion or nectar”. The practice of Rasa yoga weaves together asana, mantra, mudra, pranayama, meditation and chanting. Furthermore, the practice is deeply infused with nuggets from Tantrik philosophy, mythology, ritual and deep reverence for nature.
Each class begins with centering, invocation and contemplation of a theme or inspirational talk and ends with a guided savanna and/or meditation.
Hrönn is one of 13 Rasa Yoga Lead teachers appointed by Sianna Sherman, the founder and visionary of Rasa Yoga.

Deity Rasa Yoga - 6 week course
The practice of Rasa yoga weaves together asana, mantra, mudra, pranayama, meditation and chanting. Furthermore, the practice is deeply infused with nuggets from Tantrik philosophy, mythology, ritual and deep reverence for nature.
Expect a physical practice that is a transformational fusion of form and flow, designed to ignite your Spirit. Form and Flow may sound like opposites and classes are often either one or the other. But when we fuse the two into one practice we have the opportunity to explore how they actually complement each other and make a greater whole. You'll learn how to use mudras and how they assist in the energy flow in the body and empower us. We'll work with mantra as healing medicine for the mind and do breath work (pranayama) to engage with the great life force and aiding the nourishment of the breath to be fully utilised. Meditation is an essential practice of the whole yoga tradition and in Rasa Yoga, we honour that and include a short meditation either in the beginning or by the end of each class.
Each 6 week course draws inspiration from a specific deity eg. Durga, Hanuman, Lakshmi, Krishna, Ganesha or any of the other deities from the vast Indian mythology. You’ll hear the stories, learn about the qualities of the specific deity and be invited to cultivate these qualities in your own being.
Be prepared for a life-affirming practice, connecting heart, breath and alignment.
