If your answer was "YES" to any of the above questions this restorative yoga class series is perfectly designed for you.

This is what you can expect

A pace that is slow, grounding and nourishing. This class series is all about relaxing - not stretching or strengthening - RELAXING and SLOWING DOWN.
Each class begins with centering, a short chant and contemplation of the class theme. This is followed by a brief, no-strain warm-up like simple modified sun salutations, cat-cow etc. From there we'll move through a sequence of 6-8 restorative yoga poses where we use bolsters, blankets, belts and blocks to provide the optimal support for your body and mind. The poses are held for several minutes, focusing on releasing tension, deep relaxation and staying present. There will often be short guided meditations and breath work (pranayama).
I always diffuse therapeutic grade essential oils from Young Living to enhance the level of relaxation - mostly you'll experience Lavender, Peace & Calming, Release and Grounding. 

The main themes that we will work with are: 
  • Relax and let go
  • Practicing non-judgmental awareness
  • Just being - not doing​

Who will benefit from this class?

I’ve designed this class series specifically for those of you who are experiencing some kind of stress in your daily lives. It does not necessarily mean that you have been diagnosed with “stress” but that you are feeling overwhelmed by the activities of your daily life and maybe you can’t sleep well and worries tend to sneak into your mind often. Furthermore, you find it difficult to relax completely. When we’re unable to relax deeply, the body is in a constant state of fight, flight or freeze and it causes all the blood to rush into your muscles, so that you can fight, flight or freeze but all the other body functions like e.g. digestion, reproduction and hormone regulation slow down or even shut down. This situtation brings the body very much out of balance, leaving you completely exhausted and ultimately it makes you sick. Restorative yoga is about helping you to remember (restore) your innate ability to relax and the benefits become so much powerful through a regular practice. 
All levels of experience and all ages can benefit from restorative yoga and the stress relieving effects of relaxing the muscles, slowing down the breath and quieting the mind. It's a closed group and there are only 9 spaces.
