This restorative class series is all about relaxing and slowing down, not stretching or strengthening. The pace is slow, grounding and nourishing.

Each class begins with centering, a short chant and contemplation of the class theme. This is followed by a brief, no-strain warm-up like simple modified sun salutations, cat-cow etc. From there we'll move through a sequence of 6-8 restorative yoga poses where we use bolsters, blankets, belts and blocks to provide the optimal support for your body and mind. The poses are held for several minutes, focusing on releasing tension, deep relaxation and staying present. There will often be short guided meditations and breath work (pranayama).
