Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) is a holistic approach designed to improve posture, movement, and overall body alignment by focusing on the fascial network—the connective tissues that weave through and support your entire body, linking muscles, bones, and organs. Over time, this fascial network can accumulate tension and restrictions due to injuries, surgeries, repetitive activities, or habitual patterns developed throughout life. These patterns often form unconsciously, embedding themselves in our muscular tensions, skeletal structure, and overall body form.
ATSI works to release these tension patterns and restore the natural balance and elasticity of your connective tissue. Through a series of hands-on sessions, I will gently but deeply work to free your body from the binding patterns that limit its movement and functionality. By addressing the root causes of discomfort and imbalance, this approach not only relieves pain and improves mobility but also re-educates your body to adopt more efficient, energy-conserving movement patterns that promote long-term health.
A recent client I treated for shoulder pain and restricted mobility shared: “What a doctor and a physiotherapist couldn’t achieve, Hrönn could. And, as a bonus, you also receive simple, practical advice on how to help your body maintain mobility, posture, and well-being. I am deeply impressed and profoundly grateful—far more than words can express.”
Think of your body like a tent pole supported by guy ropes—if one or more ropes are too loose, too tight, or misaligned, the pole can no longer stand straight or carry as much load. Similarly, restrictions in your fascia can pull your body out of balance, leading to poor posture, discomfort, and a loss of strength. ATSI addresses these imbalances, helping your body “stand tall” again by adjusting and restoring the internal support system of your fascia.
As I am in the process of learning ATSI, I am expanding my ability to help clients like you not only resolve pain and mobility issues but also learn how to maintain these improvements. ATSI helps you reacquaint yourself with your body in motion, promoting better posture, greater freedom of movement, and an overall sense of ease in how you carry yourself through life. As your therapist, I work with your body’s natural structure to restore alignment and fluidity, enhancing how you move and feel on a daily basis.
Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, recovering from injury, or simply looking to improve how you move and feel, ATSI offers long-term benefits that enhance your overall well-being. Let me help you reconnect with your body and experience the freedom of natural, balanced movement.
