When our age moves towards life’s “autumn” it brings with it a completely natural shift which also happens in other parts of nature and transitions between the seasons. However, the body and mind can have a hard time being in this transition and it is not always experienced as easy or comfortable.
Based on yogic philosophy and practices, Ayurveda and recent knowledge of body and psyche, we invite you to join us for a 4-hour workshop to cultivate freedom, flexibility and strength both physically, mentally and energetically. You will learn practices and personal explorations that can facilitate the transition and help you embrace this beautiful phase of life.
The following will be offered during the workshop:
Short talk about the transition to the “next phase” in life and it’s significance for the body, mind and lifestyle, including perspectives from Ayurveda and “Pancha Maha Bhutas”
Physical yoga practice that strengthens and stretches and also practices that calm the nervous system
Guided self-massage of the connective tissue
Guided meditation
Mantra for healing and connection to your inner strength
Mudras - and some knowledge about maintaining mobility and strength in hands and fingers
