My teaching draws from extensive training in Rasa yoga, Anusara principles, philosophies of Tantra and Indian wisdom teachings. Building on my education as a nurse, I weave in biomechanical cues, functional anatomy, to offer personalized assistance. Having healed from my back injuries through yoga - I use gentle, yet effective therapeutic techniques in my instructions. I always aim to guide you to your direct experience of innate freedom and joy. Just one class per week may not be enough stimulus to increase flexibility, cultivate mindfulness, or see major changes in your emotional patterns or thinking. Ideally, attend a 75- or 90-minute Rasa yoga class at least twice weekly to experience this practice's incredible benefits. Your first class will likely reveal areas for growth – tight hamstrings, monkey mind, or shortness of breath. But do not get discouraged! Every yogi must humbly begin right where they are.
